COACHING STAFF

Kendall Driver-Perez - Head Coach 

Coach Driver graduated from Weatherford High School in Weatherford, Texas in 2005.  While in high school, she lettered in softball and volleyball.  Coach Driver continued playing softball at Stephen F. Austin State University as an infielder for the Lumberjacks.  She transferred to the University of Texas at Austin when she finished her playing days in the fall of 2007.  Coach Driver earned her Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in English at UT. 

 

Coach remained in the central Texas area upon graduation as an English teacher and assistant softball and volleyball coach at Vandegrift High School for 3 years. In the fall of 2013, Coach Driver became the head softball coach at Leander High School.  Over the past few years, Coach Driver has led her team to a District Championship in 2014, multiple playoff appearances in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016,and 2018.  Her longest playoff run ended in Regional Quarterfinal win in 2014.  Coach Driver was awarded the Hill Country News Dazzling Dozen Softball Coach of the Year in 2014. Currently, Coach Driver is teaching AVID at Leander High School and is an assistant volleyball coach in addition to her head softball role.

Kenzie Reeder - Assistant Coach

Coach Reeder graduated high school in 2007 from Columbia High School in West Columbia, Texas. While in high school she lettered in softball and volleyball. Coach Reeder continued her softball career at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio for two years before transferring to Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for her last two years. Coach Reeder graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Leisure Services Management. 

 

Upon graduating from Henderson State University Coach Reeder then went to Southern Arkansas University as a graduate assistant softball coach. She spent two years assisting under Head Coach Corey Lyon and helping lead the Lady Muleriders to the best record they have had since 2003. She graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 2013 with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology-Coaching. 

 

After graduation Coach Reeder then became Head Softball Coach at Hemphill High School in Hemphill, TX for 3 years. While coaching softball she also coached High School/Middle School Cross Country, Middle School/High School Volleyball and High School Basketball. During her three years at Hemphill High School she led the team to two post season appearances as well as helping get the first college softball player signed. Coach Reeder is currently in her second year at Leander High School teaching MAPS and Professional Communications as well as assisting in volleyball.
